Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V)
IV&V is a specialized discipline that involves representing a customer’s interests on a contractor’s premises for the purpose of reviewing processes and contracted deliverables while the customer’s product is under development.
The IV&V agent provides on-going, independent feedback to the customer on the status of the contracted deliverables and compliance with the Statement of Work.
